How Google Ads costs work

Google Ads has two separate costs. The advertising budget is what Google charges for showing your adverts and for the clicks they get. Our management fee is what you pay CloudMobile for setting up, watching and improving your campaigns. They are always quoted as two separate amounts, and our fee is never used as advertising money.

There are two ways to set it up, and we agree which one with you before anything starts. Option 1: you pay Google directly. You own the Google Ads account and keep access to it, and you add CloudMobile as your manager using Google's own manager access, so we never need your Google password and you can remove our access whenever you like. Google bills your account after your adverts have run.

Option 2: we pay Google for you. We create the Google Ads account for your business and manage your campaigns. You pay CloudMobile your advertising budget up front, and we pay Google as your adverts run. Your advertising money is used only to pay Google for your adverts. Before you pay anything, we explain in writing who owns the account and who has access, the amounts and when they are due, and what happens to any advertising money that is not used.

Either way, Google's own rules decide billing timing, limits and payment methods, so we check what applies to your account first. Nothing starts and nothing is charged because you send this request. We talk to you, agree the budget and our fee in writing, and only then set up and launch. Results can't be guaranteed: Google may spend your budget without a set number of calls or sales. You can pause or stop a campaign at any time, and we'll explain what happens to a live campaign if we stop working together.
