• App version and Package Name.
• Device identifiers (required for scheduling reminders and exact alarms).
• IP address (used generally for regional compliance and security).

1.3 Advertising Information

Happy Tasks uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

• Advertising ID: A unique, user-resettable ID for advertising, used to provide personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent.
• Interaction Data: Information about ad views and clicks.
• Approximate Location: Non-precise location derived from IP address for regional ad targeting.

You can manage your ad preferences or reset your Advertising ID in your Android system settings.

1.4 Diagnostic and Analytics Data

To improve app stability, we collect anonymized crash reports and usage patterns to understand which features are most helpful to our users.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 To Provide the Service

• To display your tasks, projects, and productivity statistics on the Dashboard.
• To fire reminders at your selected times using exact alarm permissions.
• To generate your daily progress report notification showing completed tasks, due today, overdue counts, and your completion streak.
• To power home screen widgets showing your upcoming and overdue tasks.

2.2 To Improve the App

• To fix bugs and prevent app crashes.
• To analyse which features are most commonly used in order to optimise the interface.

2.3 Legal Compliance

• To comply with regional privacy laws such as GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California) via the integrated Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data stored within the App. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and California are prompted with a consent form upon first launch to manage their data sharing preferences for personalized advertising, in compliance with GDPR and CCPA.

6. Children's Privacy

Happy Tasks is intended for general audiences and is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so it can be removed.
